Recipe for Jewish Apple Cake

Thanks to Amanda and Joyce for sharing this recipe and bringing a cake to our October meeting! Delicious!

1 cup oil

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1/2 cup orange juice

2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

3 cups flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

3 Red Delicious Apples, peeled and cut (sprinkle with cinnamon)

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 10 inch tub pan .

2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and sugar. Stir in oil, beaten eggs, oj and vanilla. Mix well.

3. Add apples.

4. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour and 10 min.
